Job Title: Claims Manager
Summary: Responsible for always being in constant contact with the adjuster and the insured to obtain the most current claim updates. This position is also responsible for setting up conference calls to go over claims, as well as providing claim status reports that are more in depth to the insured, and for attending meetings with the agent to visit clients or potential clients by performing the following duties.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software such as Microsoft Word, spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, internet software, and Microsoft Outlook.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
